Lefting school and preferred to help others:-

Newey left his studies at Birmingham to travel to Ukraine, where he volunteered with a US aid agency.

Samuel was the light of our whole lives” and “the little boy of the whole family,” said his father, Paul.

The father also said, “When Daniel decided to go to Ukraine to help with the war effort, Samuel decided to follow him and become a doctor, which he did with great courage, but after seeing things no one should see, Samuel wanted to do more by helping defend the innocent people of Ukraine”.

He added: “We pray for a quick end to this war so that my beautiful son will be one of the last brave ones to fall,” commenting, “He was a wonderful person. We all loved him very much”.
