Popular YouTuber WhistlinDiesel’s Ferrari F8 Tributo was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday while he was filming a video about the car’s durability.
Diesel, who is known for his daring stunts and for destroying cars, was driving the high-performance sports car through a cornfield in Waco, Texas, when he noticed smoke coming from the back of the car. He quickly pulled over and got out of the car, but the fire spread too quickly.
The fire is believed to have started at the exhaust and quickly spread to the passenger-side rear wheel. There was no water available to put out the fire, and despite their efforts, the flames quickly engulfed the car.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Diesel described the incident as “heartbreaking.” He said that he was “devastated” to see his car go up in flames.

According to carscoops.com, the fire was likely caused by the hot engine and exhaust coming into contact with the dry plants in the field.
Diesel and his crew were eventually forced to abandon the car and call the fire department. Firefighters arrived on the scene and quickly extinguished the flames, but the car was a total loss.
