“NY News”: The Mayor of NY allows the Islamic call to prayer during the upcoming month of Ramadan
New York Mayor “Eric Adams” announced yesterday, Tuesday, that the call to prayer will be announced in mosques without the need for prior permission on Fridays and at the time of sunset prayers in the holy month of Ramadan.
The decree also included allowing the designation of designated places for prayer in institutions affiliated with the municipality of New York.

Eric Adams pointed out at the press conference that Islam, like Christianity, Judaism, and other religions, is an important element of New York’s culture and that mosques greatly help in the fight against crime and undocumented immigrants.
