Ukrainian Forces Successfully Overcome Russian Landmines with Plastic Explosives

Ukrainian military forces have been facing significant hurdles in their counter-offensive against Russia due to the widespread presence of Russian landmines, which have inflicted heavy losses on equipment and fighters. However, a breakthrough occurred on Saturday when Ukrainian soldiers managed to penetrate minefields on major roads, allowing for progress on all fronts.

Commander “Skala,” leading the Ukrainian assaults in the village of Robotain, located in the Zaporizhia region, expressed confidence in their increased momentum. He stated, “I am certain that we will move faster from now on.”

In a video released by the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff on social media, footage from the start of the southern counter-offensive shows the skillful penetration of mine defenses. Ukrainian engineers were shown utilizing plastic explosives to disarm Russian landmines, without causing any harm to their own weaponry or troops.

The powerful images captured the moment of explosions targeting Russian landmines on defensive lines. These detonations were accomplished using the specialized tactics of plastic explosives. The video showcases the Ukrainian forces’ success in neutralizing the threat posed by the Russian landmines.
