On Wednesday evening, Russian activists circulated on social media a video of the moment a private civilian plane crashed north of Moscow carrying the leader of the Russian “Wagner” group Yevgeny Prigozhin.

The Russian “Wagner” group published, on Wednesday evening, a picture of the crash of a private civilian plane north of the Russian capital, Moscow, noting that the group’s leader, Evgeny Prigozhin, was killed on board the plane, pointing to the latter’s possession of two civil aircraft, one of which flew from Moscow to St. Petersburg before the Russian Civil Aviation Authority announced the crash.

The Russian agency “TASS” confirmed the crash of the private business plane “Embraer” in the Tver province, killing everyone on board, and the statement of the press office of the Russian Civil Aviation Authority said that Evgeny Prigozhin was on board the plane that crashed, but his death was not officially announced.

The statement said: “The Embraer aircraft was on a flight from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport to the city of St. Petersburg. There were 3 pilots and 7 passengers on board. All of them died.”

RT: The crashed Russian plane had Wagner commander on board

Russia Today confirmed that the plane that crashed had Wagner Group commander Yevgeny Prigozhin on board.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on July 13 that the Wagner Group had delivered thousands of tons of weapons and ammunition to the Russian army, as Moscow moves to put the rebel mercenary force under its control, and the ministry said it had received more than 2,000 pieces of equipment, including hundreds of tanks and more than 2,500 tons of ammunition.

On July 7, Kremlin presidential press spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied that the Kremlin had information about whether Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was in Russia.

Russian Civil Aviation: Wagner commander was among the passengers of the doomed plane

The Russian Civil Aviation Authority announced that the commander of the Wagner Group, Evgeny Prigozhin, is on the list of passengers of the doomed plane.

Russian media affiliated with the Wagner Group reported that a second Prigozhin plane was circling Moscow, according to Al Arabiya in its breaking news.

A short while ago, Russian media reported that the commander of the Wagner Special Forces Group, Evgeny Prigozhin, was on board the plane that crashed north of the Russian capital, Moscow.

A Russian private plane used by Wagner commander Prigozhin crashed repeatedly, Wagner media reported.

According to multiple Russian media reports, all 10 passengers on the plane died, including the Wagner commander, but according to what Al-Arabiya announced in a breaking news, there is no confirmation so far that the Wagner commander was on board and also died.
