Horrifying footage from part of a video filmed by a passenger shows fire radiating from what appears to be the plane’s right engine for at least 30 seconds, and flames from the plane’s engine prompted a Southwest Airlines flight to make an emergency landing this week in Texas.
Mechanical problem:-
Southwest spokeswoman Alyssa Foster said Flight 307 took off from Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport on Tuesday evening bound for Cancun when it encountered a “mechanical problem” shortly after takeoff. Foster did not elaborate on what exactly happened.
The flight then returned to the airport, where Foster said it landed safely and was decommissioned for review.
The spokesperson said a different plane continued to its original destination later that night.
Are there injuries?

“We applaud the crew for their professionalism, and we appreciate the patience of our customers,” Foster said.
