Lebanon: Dozens have been injured in multiple regions, including the southern suburbs of Beirut, Bekaa, and the South, following explosions of communication devices carried by members of Hezbollah.
Security sources suggest these explosions were caused by a hacking attempt using wireless technology according to Aljazeera.
The devices, identified as pagers, detonated unexpectedly, leading to widespread panic and raising critical questions about the security of Hezbollah’s communication networks.
According to security sources and a report by Al Jazeera, these explosions are believed to have been triggered by a sophisticated hacking attempt using wireless technology, when the targeted devices exploded almost simultaneously in key Hezbollah strongholds, intensifying concerns about the vulnerabilities in the group’s communication systems.
