In a shocking and horrifying incident that unfolded in Brooklyn, New York, a furious neighbor, seemingly pushed to his limits by incessant noise disturbances, resorted to a deadly act of violence, resulting in the tragic demise of three individuals. The perpetrator, identified as 47-year-old Jason Bass, emerged from his residence wearing dark attire, his face contorted with anger, and engaged in a heated exchange of words with his neighbors. Among those confronting him were a woman and her son, identified as 27-year-old Chinwey Moud.
Moments later, the woman’s husband, a 47-year-old school bus driver, joined the altercation, brandishing a pair of scissors and facing the irate neighbor. The video footage vividly portrays the escalating verbal confrontation, which took a nightmarish turn when the neighbor in the black robe drew a pistol and aimed it at the agitated individuals.

Realizing the imminent threat, the victims tried to retreat into their apartment, but the neighbor pursued them, discharging his firearm until they lay wounded on the ground. In the midst of the chaos, Moud, who was also present in the hallway, fell victim to multiple gunshots, collapsing in a pool of his own blood near the staircase.
The assailant, seemingly unfazed by the horror he had just unleashed, calmly observed the gruesome scene before making his escape. He exited the building through an elevator that led to the street, vanishing into the night.
Police sources later revealed the recovery of nine .45 caliber shell casings and five bullet fragments in the building’s hallway, evidence of the harrowing incident.

Mary Delil, the grieving wife of one of the victims, shed light on the ongoing noise dispute between her family, originally from Haiti, and their downstairs neighbor. She emphasized that her husband was not at fault and did not possess a weapon.
The residential complex where the fatal shooting took place, comprised of 59 buildings, has a history dating back to the 1940s when it was known as Vanderveer Estates before being renamed Flatbush Gardens in later decades.
