The UNRWA has issued a warning that all hospitals in Gaza will be depleted of fuel within the next 24 hours.
The organization stated that it does not expect the limited fuel supplies to continue for a long time, given the worsening humanitarian emergency, according to what was published by Sky News.
Thousands of patients’ lives would be in danger if hospitals lose access to electricity, even though they currently depend on backup generators.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the health facilities in Gaza were overwhelmed, and as a result, one hospital had to convert their carpark into a makeshift “graveyard” due to the overflow of bodies.
The lives of patients are at risk due to the decreasing supply of generator fuel in Gaza
The shortage of generator fuel in Gaza’s hospitals is not just a problem with organizing supplies; it is a matter that can determine whether people live or die.
If the backup generators were to stop working, OCHA believes that numerous patients would be in a critical situation due to a lack of sufficient access to vital medical treatment.
Included in this group of patients are both children and adults who have suffered serious injuries, and their chances of surviving depend greatly on having a constant supply of electricity.
