Palestinian Resistance Groups Rally in Unified Defiance; President Abbas Holds Urgent Meeting

In an unprecedented move, Palestinian resistance factions in the West Bank have declared a state of general mobilization, intensifying assaults on Israeli occupying forces and settlers. This surge in aggression is a direct response to the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operations.

Today, according to the Palestinian news agency, President Mahmoud Abbas convened an emergency gathering with civil and security officials. Abbas emphasized the need to safeguard the Palestinian people, reaffirming their right to defend against the settlers’ terrorism and the Israeli occupation forces. The president further directed that all necessary resources be allocated to bolster the resilience of the Palestinians against crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation and settler gangs. Abbas is also slated to chair a meeting with the Palestinian leadership soon.

Prominent Palestinian figures and factions have welcomed the “Al-Aqsa Storm” battle. These military operations from Gaza against Israel involved launching thousands of rockets. Hossam Badran, a member of Hamas’ political bureau, has urged Palestinians in the occupied towns to act against the Israeli occupation, emphasizing unity and the pivotal nature of the “Al-Aqsa Storm” in the conflict.

Moreover, Fatah has appealed to all its leaders, cadres, and members to rally in a state of general mobilization, holding the Zionist enemy government and the entire international community accountable for this escalation.

Hamas Hussam Badran of Hamas urged Palestinians to actively confront the Israeli occupation in the framework of the “Al-Aqsa Tempest” battle.
Fatah Movement Called for general mobilization and blamed the Israeli government for the escalation. They also highlighted the importance of a united national leadership for resistance.
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Stated that the resistance aims for a strategic victory over Israeli occupation during this battle.
Al-Quds Brigades Spokesperson stated that the Al-Quds Brigades are part of the “Al-Aqsa Tempest” battle and are fighting alongside Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades.

 

In a show of solidarity, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) stated that the resistance is poised to achieve a strategic victory against the Israeli occupation in the “Al-Aqsa Storm” battle.

The armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, Saraya Al-Quds, further emphasized their role in this conflict, fighting alongside Hamas’ Al-Qassam brigades.

In response to the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operations, a number of rockets launched by the resistance from Gaza landed in several villages and towns in the southern West Bank. This spurred Palestinian celebrations in the streets, honoring the valor of the resistors in the Gaza Strip.

The unfolding situation underscores the mounting tensions and the consolidated response from various Palestinian factions against the Israeli occupation. The world watches closely as events unfold in the region.
