Spain this year recorded the third highest temperature in the current summer, since official records began 62 years ago, and authorities said on Thursday that temperatures peaked at 46.8 degrees Celsius, as the severe drought continued in the European country.
Spain and elevated temperatures
Spain’s meteorological agency issued a statement explaining the high temperature, saying: “The average temperature in summer was 1.3 degrees Celsius above normal.”
Current weather is the biggest terrorist.
Killing more people than we even realize.

The World Meteorological Organization noted last week that August was not only the hottest month in the world ever recorded by scientists, but also the second hottest month after July 2023.
Suspension of the meteorological agency of Spain
“The period from January to August of this year in Spain is equivalent to the same periods in 2022 and 2020, as the hottest period ever recorded in the country during those months,” the Spanish Meteorological Agency continued.

Spain and an unprecedented rise in temperature
Since 1961, the average temperature in mainland Spain has risen by 1.6 degrees Celsius, according to the Spanish Meteorological Agency, and the summers of 2022 and 2003 have recorded unprecedented temperature rises.
This summer is the rainiest since the turn of the century, although most of Spain remains in the grip of drought, as northeastern Spain is suffering from the most severe droughts since records began to record, leading to the spread of forest fires in many Spanish regions.
