WHO Director: We continue to see worrying trends for COVID-19

“We continue to see worrying trends of COVID-19 ahead of the winter season in the northern hemisphere,” WHO Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a news conference, adding that deaths are increasing in some parts of the Middle East and Asia, intensive care admissions are increasing in Europe and hospitalizations in several regions are also increasing.
