Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with 65W fast charging technology

The latest reports have indicated Samsung’s plans to support its upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra phone with 65W fast charging technology.

Samsung first introduced the 45W fast charging technology in 2019, coinciding with the announcement of the Galaxy Note10 Plus, and has continued to adopt this standard until now.

The Korean giant is now gearing up to adopt compact battery technology in its devices, a technology commonly used in electric vehicle batteries.

Details shared by @RGCloudS revealed that Samsung intends to bring this new battery technology to the upcoming versions of Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Plus.

Samsung is expected to make a final decision on the new battery technology based on the company’s supply chains, and they have already begun testing the new battery technology.

The stacked battery technology offers several advantages, including support for fast charging.

It is anticipated that the S24 Ultra will support 65W fast charging, an upgrade from this year’s versions that support 45W fast charging.

Moreover, expectations suggest that Samsung is planning to equip Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Plus with a 5000 mAh battery capacity.

Additionally, the Ultra version will offer an extra cooling option.
