Seek Out Altars of Lilith for Permanent Stat Boosts
One of the novel mechanics in Diablo 4 is the inclusion of Altars of Lilith. These statues, honoring the Mother of Demons, are scattered throughout Sanctuary, the game’s expansive map. Activating an altar provides players with a permanent boost to stats such as Murmuring Obol Capacity, Dexterity, Intelligence, Willpower, or Strength. Securing these bonuses early in the game can make leveling more manageable and offer a considerable advantage in endgame content.
A total of 160 Altars of Lilith are hidden within Diablo 4. Each activation delivers a significant stat increase, benefiting not only the player’s current character but also all characters created on their account. Additionally, activating an Altar of Lilith rewards players with Renown, which can help increase their reputation in Sanctuary’s regions and yield extra rewards such as gold, skill points, and Paragon points in the endgame.
Conquer Dungeons to Acquire Legendary Aspect
Optimizing character equipment with Legendary Aspects is another crucial aspect of survival in Diablo 4. While legendary items usually come with pre-affixed Aspects, players can craft their own legendary gear by imprinting Legendary Aspects onto rare-quality items, customizing their builds to suit their specific needs. To acquire Legendary Aspects, players must either clear a dungeon containing one and add it to their Codex of Power or extract an Aspect from an existing legendary item in their possession.
Upon reaching level 25 and collecting their desired Legendary Aspect, players can visit the Occultist, who can imprint the gear with the Aspect. It is recommended that players gather as many Aspects as possible by clearing specific dungeons early in the game to optimize equipment once level 25 is reached. Keep in mind that this service comes at a high cost, so players should save gold and strategize which Aspect to imprint on each piece of gear for maximum cost efficiency.
