SK Hynix, a leader in solid-state drives and storage solutions, has recently launched two innovative products: the Tube T31 Stick USB SSD, a compact external storage drive, and the Haechi H01 SSD Cooler, specifically designed for M.2 SSDs in PlayStation 5.
Tube T31 Stick USB SSD: Compact and Speedy Storage Solution
The Tube T31 SSD is notable for its small size and lightweight design, weighing just 34 grams. It boasts a high data transfer speed of up to 1000 megabytes per second, compatible with USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 2 port, it enables transferring 100 GB of data in just about two and a half minutes, available in 512 GB and 1 TB sizes, this drive is also shock-resistant, capable of withstanding falls from up to two meters, and comes with a two-year warranty. However, SK Hynix has not yet disclosed the price or market availability of this device.
Haechi H01 SSD Cooler: Enhanced Cooling for PlayStation 5
In addition to the Tube T31 SSD, SK Hynix introduced the Haechi H01 SSD Cooler, it’s an exclusive cooler for the SSD in PlayStation 5, compatible with models CFI-1000/1100/1200. Plans are in place for a version compatible with the new, slimmer PlayStation 5 model (CFI-2000).
The Haechi H01 is manufactured using advanced CNC technology, focusing on increasing the surface area for heat absorption by 2.3 times compared to standard M.2 SSD coolers, thus improving cooling efficiency.
These new releases highlight the commitment of SK Hynix, in collaboration with companies like Hitachi and LG, to the development and enhancement of SSD storage solutions.
