Samsung Unveils Galaxy AI Assistant with Advanced Photo Editing Features in Galaxy S24 Series

Samsung recently revealed its new Galaxy AI assistant at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event, a major enhancement for its latest smartphone series, the Galaxy S24, this AI assistant introduces a range of artificial intelligence features, particularly in photo application, enabling users to edit photos easily and professionally without relying on third-party editing apps, among other functionalities to streamline various tasks and improve user experience.

Edit Suggestion Feature:

The Edit Suggestion is a new AI-driven tool in the Galaxy S24 phones, it analyzes photos and videos, automatically suggesting suitable edits to enhance the appearance, this feature can suggest removing unwanted shadows, reflections, or glare from images.

Enhanced Super HDR Capability:

Samsung has updated its Super HDR feature to make the preview look like the final shot, this allows users to see the clarity of the photo and video before capturing, this feature is also available when using dedicated cameras for social media apps like Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok, meaning users can capture high-quality photos directly in Instagram and post them without having to import them from the phone’s built-in camera app.

Generative Edit Function:

Samsung has introduced a new feature called Generative Edit. This uses generative AI to expand photos and fill new parts with a background matching the original image, when moving an object within a photo, this feature adjusts the object’s position and fills its original spot with perfectly matching background colors.

Instant Slow-Mo for Video Creation:

The new Galaxy S24 phones include an Instant Slow-Mo feature that uses AI to convert regular video clips into slow-motion videos, even if filmed in normal mode, the Instant Slow-Mo can create additional frames based on the movements in the video to slow down rapid moments.
