Huawei Introduces Huawei Band 8: A Stylish and Affordable Smart Bracelet for Global Consumers

Huawei has begun offering its latest smart bracelet, the Huawei Band 8, in global markets.

The bracelet has already arrived in some countries and is now available for purchase or pre-order.

The official Huawei Indonesia account announced the sale of the Huawei Band 8 starting today, and company also revealed that the bracelet will be available for purchase in Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and other countries in the coming days.

Previously, the company had announced the bracelet and started selling it in the Chinese and Japanese markets at the end of April.

Huawei is expected to gradually make its smart bracelet available in more international markets during June.

The Huawei Band 8 is priced at approximately $50 and is considered a simpler and more affordable alternative to smartwatches.

The new eighth edition of the bracelet features a 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 194×368 pixels, supporting touch and gesture controls.

It weighs just 14 grams (without the strap) and is available in four colors: green, pink, black, and orange.

The bracelet straps are made of thermal plastic polyurethane, silicon, or nylon.

Additionally, the Huawei Band 8 is water-resistant up to a depth of 50 meters, meeting the 5 ATM standard.

The bracelet is equipped with a battery that can last up to two weeks or less, depending on usage, and can be fully charged in 45 minutes.

It offers features such as TruSleep 3.0 for better sleep tracking and providing tips and tools for improving sleep quality, TruSeen 5.0 for heart rate monitoring, and a special sensor for measuring blood oxygen levels, among others.

With over 100 exercise modes to from, the Huawei Band 8 can detect and track various activities, including walking, running, and swimming.

Huawei also provides the TruRelax feature, which helps users reduce stress through a variety of exercises and activities.

The bracelet can be paired with iOS or Android smartphones to receive call notifications, messages, and various other notifications.

There are also different applications available for remotely capturing photos, controlling music and flashlight, and more.

Huawei provides a dedicated application for connecting and controlling the bracelet, allowing users to download a variety of watch faces and customize them according to their preferences.

The app also enables activating the always-on display feature on the bracelet.
