Instagram recently announced a significant update to its Notes feature, launched last year, the new update allows users to share brief video clips, lasting only two seconds, alongside textual posts, emojis, and song snippets.
New Updates Enhance Interactivity on Instagram
This new feature adds a fresh dimension to user communication, enabling them to record and share quick video shots using the front camera, this can be done by pressing the camera icon when creating a new note, with the option to add text for contextualizing the video.
Diversified Interaction with Notes
In addition to video sharing, Instagram Notes now supports responses using voice, still or animated images, or stickers, this update is part of Meta’s efforts to enhance user interaction and expand expression capabilities across its platforms.
Anticipated Future Updates
Reports also suggest that Meta is testing voice notes with user voices in the Messenger app, and is expected to add more new features in the near future, notes remain available for only 24 hours before disappearing automatically, encouraging the sharing of fleeting thoughts and moments among users.
