According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Apple is planning to upgrade its entire iPad lineup in 2024, this includes the release of new versions of the iPad Pro, iPad Air, and the more budget-friendly iPad.
Apple had launched its latest iPad Mini in late 2021 and introduced the latest versions of the iPad Pro and iPad Air, along with the affordable version, in different times throughout 2022.
Remarkably, 2023 marks the first year in which Apple has not introduced any new iPad devices since their initial release in 2010.
Consequently, the company has attempted to accelerate the launch of new iPad devices and AirPods before the end of the current year to keep up with the holiday shopping season and the beginning of the new calendar year.
As per the reports, the first releases of the upcoming iPads are expected to be available in the market by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
It is rumored that Apple intends to use the new M3 processor in the iPad Pro, while relying on the M2 and A16 processors for the iPad Air and iPad Mini, respectively.
Despite the global decline in the tablet market, Apple still holds the top position in tablet sales, followed by Samsung. Apple hopes to boost its sales in the coming year with the upcoming iPad releases.
