Xiaomi Reveals Devices to Receive HyperOS System

Chinese company Xiaomi has unveiled the devices set to receive the newly announced HyperOS system.

According to Xiaomi’s plan, some of its recent device models will be upgraded to the new HyperOS system, which will serve as an alternative to Xiaomi’s MIUI interface.

Xiaomi recently unveiled the Xiaomi 14 series, which will come with the new system by default.

Xiaomi will begin rolling out the HyperOS system for the Mix Fold 2 and 3, Xiaomi 13 series, K60, and Pad 6 tablet series by the end of this year and the beginning of the next year.

In the second stage, the company will provide the system for the Xiaomi 12, 12S, K50 series, and Pad 5 Pro devices, without specifying a particular date.

The system will also be available for Xiaomi’s Mini LED TV S Pro in 65, 75, and 85 inches. It will also be featured in the new Xiaomi Watch S3. Xiaomi is expected to reveal more devices with the HyperOS system at a later time.

Xiaomi’s HyperOS is a comprehensive system for all of the company’s devices. However, it differs fundamentally in smartphones and tablets compared to home appliances.

The company adopts the system based on the open-source Android project (AOSP) and its own Internet of Things project.

While HyperOS may not differ significantly from Xiaomi’s traditional modified interfaces, it offers unprecedented integration between various Xiaomi devices, similar to what Huawei does with HarmonyOS.
