Telegram, the instant messaging platform, has rolled out an update enhancing its message reply and link preview features.
One of the key improvements in Telegram’s message reply functionality is the ability to quote a specific part of a message when replying, users can select the portion they want to quote and then choose the “Quote” option from the formatting menu, which appears automatically.
This feature allows users to quote multiple texts when responding to a particular message. Additionally, you can forward your replies to other chats, whether they are individual conversations or other group chats or channels.
The new Telegram update also offers more control over link previews, users can adjust image size and summary placement according to their preferences.
It’s worth noting that Telegram was one of the first instant messaging platforms to introduce message replies and link previews back in 2015, setting the standard for other platforms.
In the Stories feature, users can now navigate forward or backward when watching video stories by swiping left or right, the front flashlight can be used for enhanced selfie photography within Telegram, with settings to control warmth and intensity.
For Telegram Premium subscribers, there is added customization for their accounts, they can select the color displayed for their account name, links, and replies in all conversations and groups.
