Chinese company Xiaomi has officially revealed its new smartwatch, the Watch S3, which is the first smartwatch from the company to run its new HyperOS operating system.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 allows users to customize and change the watch faces in the settings according to their preferences and the watch’s interface in use, it also features dynamic animations and exclusive sound effects, providing a precise operational feeling to the user.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 supports over 150 sports modes that cover all user activities, it has 12-channel heart rate measurement, which enhances measurement accuracy by approximately 20%, according to the company, the watch also features a high-precision GPS system.
The watch supports activity tracking, heart rate measurement, blood oxygen level monitoring, nervous system pressure measurement, sleep monitoring, as well as atmospheric pressure and ambient light measurement.
It boasts a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits, the watch is equipped with a 486 mAh battery, providing up to 15 days of typical usage or 5 days with the always-on display enabled (battery life is less for the 4G version).
Xiaomi offers the watch with a stainless steel design in two versions: one with an eSIM for built-in connectivity and a leather strap priced at $150, and another without eSIM and a rubber strap for $110.
