Canon Launches CR-N100 Camera with 4K Capability for Indoor and Pan-Tilt-Zoom Applications

Canon has announced the release of its CR-N100 camera, designed for indoor, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) capabilities, and 4K precision zooming, this camera, part of the PTZ lineup, is aimed at capturing high-quality, ultra-high-definition video and seamlessly integrates into multi-camera systems.

Alongside this innovation, Canon also introduced the professional PTZ controller unit, RC-IP1000, suitable for live broadcasting and live events, this controller unit streamlines the management of multiple PTZ cameras, simplifying workflows in diverse camera setups.

With the addition of the CR-N100 to Canon’s range of remote cameras, customers now have a broader array of options, catering to various applications, from professional video production to utilizing video content in corporate, local government, and educational settings.

CR-N100 Camera:

The CR-N100 camera offers unmatched image quality and multiple features at a reasonable price point, it features a 1/2.3-inch 4K CMOS sensor, DIGIC DV6 image processor, and an optical zoom lens with a 20x zoom ratio, providing ultra-high-definition 4K UHD video with exceptional detail and high-quality visuals, given the increasing prevalence of online meetings, lectures, events, and webinars, the need for live streaming and video recording has become crucial.

The CR-N100 camera provides four different shooting modes: portrait, sports, low light, and highlight. Users can choose among these modes to create the best possible visual angles based on their subject.

It employs a hybrid autofocus system, combining contrast-based and space-sensing autofocus, ensuring fast and accurate focusing even in low light conditions.

The new camera supports Canon’s Auto Tracking application as an additional feature, offering unprecedented flexibility as it automatically tracks the main sound source without manual intervention.

The camera also supports a Multi-Camera Management application, allowing configuration of group settings and the control of up to 200 cameras, facilitating efficient operation of large-scale systems in work environments such as enterprises, local governments, and educational institutions.

RC-IP1000 Controller:

The RC-IP1000 is a sophisticated professional PTZ controller designed for live broadcasting with a wide range of features aimed at capturing moments with maximum precision, it’s ideal for studios and large production teams.

The controller unit complements Canon’s advanced PTZ camera models in the world of live broadcasting and video production, providing compatibility with multiple IP protocols and serial communications to access and control PTZ cameras remotely.

The Inputs Monitoring feature allows users to view their clips on the built-in 7-inch LCD screen without the need for an external display, the controller also features a comfortable control grip for precise handling.

The RC-IP1000 unit boasts a large, touch-enabled LCD screen that provides easy access to various camera settings and features, including the selection of camera focus points.
