The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the United Arab Emirates has announced the opening of the registration for individuals interested in performing the Hajj pilgrimage for the year 1445 AH / 2024 AD.
The Authority has indicated that it will be accepting registration applications through its smart application, AWQAFUAE, during the period from December 5, 2023, to December 21, 2023.
How to Register for Hajj 2024 in the UAE
To register for the Hajj pilgrimage for the year 1445 AH / 2024 AD, you should follow these steps:
- Download the Updated Application:
- Search for and install the latest version of the AWQAFUAE smart application from your smartphone’s app store.
- The AWQAFUAE application is available for Android users on the Google Play Store, for Huawei users on the AppGallery, and for iPhone and iPad users on the App Store.
- Initiating the Registration Process:
- Once the application is installed, open it on your smartphone.
- Navigate to the “Hajj and Umrah Services” tab available on the application’s main screen.
- Select “Hajj Registration,” and you will be prompted to log in using the UAE Pass digital identity.
- After completing the login process, you can review and verify your personal information and passport details.
- You can also link family members with a shared family file by clicking on the “Link with Family Members” option and entering the family file number of the first registered family member.
- Persons with disabilities or chronic illnesses can choose their respective status from the special conditions list and attach the required documents.
- If you wish to register a guardian or companion, you should register them first. During registration, click on the “Add Guardian or Companion” option and enter their reference number. Details of the guardian or companion will be displayed to ensure data accuracy.
- Submitting the Application:
- After completing all the required details and information, click on “Submit.”
- Tracking Your Registration Application:
- You can track the status of your registration application for the 1445 AH / 2024 AD Hajj season at any time through the AWQAFUAE application:
- Open the AWQAFUAE application on your smartphone.
- Navigate to the “Hajj and Umrah Services” tab available on the application’s main screen.
- Select “Track Application,” and you will be able to see the status of your application and its details.
Please note that the registration portal is currently closed, and it will be opened in December, as indicated in the announcement.
