Noise, an Indian electronics manufacturer, has officially unveiled its first smart ring named “Luna.” Priced at $180, the ring is crafted from titanium, weighing only 4 grams, and boasts water resistance up to 50 meters. It comes in various colors, including gold, silver, and black.
The Luna smart ring by Noise relies on infrared sensors, along with temperature and accelerometer sensors, to measure and record vital signs such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and skin temperature.
This smart ring, “Noise Luna,” can track the wearer’s physical activity, distance traveled, and calculate calorie expenditure, aiding individuals in reaching their fitness goals.
Additionally, the smart ring monitors sleep patterns, analyzing various sleep stages to provide users with daily sleep quality assessments, complete with tips and recommendations for improvement.
Furthermore, it offers another assessment known as the “Readiness Score,” a comprehensive evaluation based on various factors that illustrates a user’s ability to perform tasks throughout the day.
The Luna smart ring operates through the company’s official app, compatible with both Android and iPhone devices, this app connects the smartphone to the ring, displaying all user-specific data.
The “Noise Luna” ring supports wireless connectivity to smartphones via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and is equipped with a battery that can last up to 6 days, with a maximum two-hour charging time using a dedicated charger.
