Meta has announced the launch of a suite of generative artificial intelligence tools for advertisers on its Ads Manager platform, the global rollout of these tools is expected to be completed by next year.
According to Meta’s official website, these tools will “usher in a new era of creativity aimed at maximizing productivity, customization, and performance for all advertisers.”
Among the new features introduced by Meta is the background generation feature. It can create multiple backgrounds for a single product, helping users obtain a variety of images for targeting a wider audience.
The image expansion feature allows users to change the dimensions of an image and complete it if necessary, using generative AI, this ensures that the image fits the varying aspect ratios across different advertising channels, saving advertisers time in reproducing multiple advertising materials.
Meta also offers another feature known as “text variations.” It enables the generation of several different copies of the text post that advertisers want to publish, focusing on key selling points to better reach the audience.
Meta stated that companies will soon be able to use artificial intelligence for business messaging in WhatsApp and Messenger to communicate with customers, enhance business operations, engagement, and support, and provide instant responses to customer inquiries.
Meta has indicated that it is currently testing these features with a small number of advertisers in the trial phase and plans to expand their scope by next year.
