“X Platform” Revamps News Link Presentation, Following Musk’s Vision for Enhanced User Experience
In a recent move to improve user experience, “X Platform” (formerly known as Twitter), introduced a major update in the way it displays links directing users to news websites. Gone are the typical headers and lead-ins users had grown accustomed to.
Now, a news story on “X” appears as a headline that resembles a regular post, accompanied by an image. Clicking on the image directs users straight to the news story. However, it’s worth noting that the image linked to the news story slightly differs from an image that’s directly uploaded to the platform.

Elon Musk, owner of the “X Platform”, articulated that omitting traditional headlines and introductions would render the platform’s appearance more seamless and engaging.
The UK’s “The Guardian” reported that this update was rolled out on Wednesday, targeting iOS devices and desktop users. Interestingly, advertisements remain unaffected by this new change.
