Lenovo Unveils the Budget-Friendly IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook: A Versatile Computing Solution
Lenovo, the Chinese tech company, has officially announced its new IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook, which falls into the budget-friendly laptop category.
The Lenovo Flex 5 boasts a 14-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels, it features a brightness rating of up to 300 nits, an 800:1 contrast ratio, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
This device can be used as a laptop or a tablet, thanks to its 360-degree hinge.
The laptop is approximately 20 millimeters thick and weighs around 1.58 kilograms, it comes with various ports, including two USB-C ports, a USB-A port, a microSD card slot for additional external storage, and a dedicated headphone jack.
Under the hood, the laptop features Intel’s 13th-generation U-series processors, with various options ranging from the dual-core i3-1315U to the quad-core i5-1334U, it also includes 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and various storage capacities, such as 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The Lenovo laptop features stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio technology for improved audio quality, it also includes a 1080p webcam with fixed focus and is equipped with a 51WH built-in battery.
Lenovo has not disclosed the price of the new IdeaPad Flex 5 Chromebook, but it is expected to start at around $400 USD.
