All iPhone 15 models come equipped with a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and they have the capability to charge a wide range of devices, including other iPhones and Android phones.
According to the well-known tech reviewer Marques Brownlee, you can connect an iPhone 15 to older iPhone models that have a “Lightning” port using a cable, when you do this, the iPhone 15 will begin charging the battery of the older iPhone.
Have you ever wondered what happened when you plugged random things into the iPhone 15's new USB port? Well wonder no more

When you connect different versions of iPhone 15 to each other, the charging process depends on the difference in the battery charge percentage between the two phones, charging occurs from the phone with the higher battery charge percentage to the one with the lower percentage.
If you connect an iPhone 15 to an Android phone with a USB-C port that supports fast charging through Power Delivery, the Android phone can charge the iPhone’s battery.
However, it can be challenging to predict which phone will charge the other if the Android phone does not support Power Delivery.
It’s worth noting that iPhone 15 can also charge smaller devices like the Apple Watch and AirPods, among others.
When using iPhone 15 as a power source to charge other devices, the charging process is slow and typically does not exceed 4.5 watts of output power.
