Zinedine Zidane, the former Spanish Real Madrid coach, declined an offer from Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr to train the team in the upcoming period.
The management of Al-Nassr club offered Zinedine Zidane to coach the team, replacing the former French coach Rudy Garcia who was dismissed due to poor performance and results in the recent period.
As per the French newspaper “Foot Mercato”, the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr offered Zinedine Zidane a salary of 150 million euros for a period of two years to join their team. However, the coach rejected all proposals presented by the Saudi club.

The newspaper noted that Zidane does not wish to join the Al-Nassr project because he is waiting for a bigger project with one of the clubs in the top five leagues. Therefore, Zidane will take his time to choose his next destination.
Zinedine Zidane was linked to various clubs, most notably Paris Saint-Germain, after Mauricio Pochettino’s departure. However, his desire to coach the French national team led him to reject all offers. Unfortunately, his dreams were shattered when Didier Deschamps agreed to extend his contract after the 2022 World Cup.
Al-Nassr is currently standing in second place in the Rochen League with 63 points, trailing behind the leading team, Ittihad Jeddah, by three points. The Al-Nassr team hopes that their rival, Al-Ahli, will miss a few wins, to keep their hopes for winning the league title alive until the last round.
