Arteta praised his players’ mentality during that tough encounter but emphasized the need to find ways to secure matches early instead of relying on magical moments.

Rashford scored for United in the first half, but Odegaard managed to equalize for Arsenal. However, star player Declan Rice added a goal for the Gunners in the 96th minute of the match, and his teammate Gabriel Jesus scored a goal moments before the end of the game, allowing Arsenal to secure three hard-fought and crucial points in their journey to compete for the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta stated, “I love the mentality in which the team plays and their desire to achieve victory. My team was able to impose its control during that encounter, and we deserved to win the three points. However, the differences between the two teams are very slight, and things could have gone differently.”

Arteta added, “At the end of the match, the gaps are not significant enough due to a high level of tension, and this is something we need to work on. We shouldn’t rely on finding magical moments in the final moments, and I don’t want to depend on that.”
