In recent days, several media reports have suggested that Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad Jeddah, the reigning Saudi Arabian league champions is making intense efforts to secure the signing of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah in the current summer transfer window.
The well-known sports network, “beIN Sports” has revealed recently that Salah has given his consent to a potential move to Al-Ittihad Jeddah, with the final agreement awaited between the Saudi club and Liverpool.
However Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp dispelled these rumors during a press conference ahead of their Premier League match against Newcastle. Klopp stated, “There has been no official offer to sign Salah, and if there was one, our response would be to reject it. He is not for sale.”

Klopp further added “It is difficult to discuss media speculation as there is nothing to talk about from our perspective. Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool player.”
Addressing the question of Salah’s commitment to Liverpool Klopp emphasized, “Is Salah still dedicated to Liverpool? Yes, 100 percent.”
Klopp went on to express his difficulty in dealing with the transfer moves from Saudi Arabian clubs stating that their transfer window remains open while theirs will be closed soon. He recalled a similar scenario in Russia a while ago.
“I am fully confident that FIFA can change the final deadline for closing the transfer window but whether they want to do it or not,I am not sure,” Klopp added.
