An intense moment during a Asian Champions League qualifiers match on Tuesday involving Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has caused a heated debate. After the match between Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr and UAE’s Al-Ahli despite his team’s decisive victory, Ronaldo appeared angry. As Ronaldo was leaving the field a member of Al-Ahli’s coaching staff approached him to take a selfie. However the football icon forcefully pushed the staff member aside and continued his way out of the field.

This incident has drawn strong criticism from fans and pundits who argue that Ronaldo’s behavior was against the spirit of the game. Some also argue that the timing of the selfie attempt was inappropriate, triggering Ronaldo’s aggressive response.

The match itself saw a remarkable comeback by Al-Nassr as they turned a 1-2 deficit into a 4-2 victory in the final minutes. This victory secures their place in the group stage of the Asian Champions League.
