On May 22, 2023, before the start of the WWE RAW show, Brock Lesnar attacked Cody Rhodes and broke his arm. Lesnar then appeared on the show and announced an open challenge, which was interrupted by Rhodes, who was still in pain from the broken arm. Lesnar applied a “Kimura Lock” on Rhodes, who was unable to escape and was in a great deal of pain for a long time.
At the end of the show, Triple H told Rhodes that he did not have to face Lesnar at Night of Champions, but Rhodes insisted on fighting.
The match between Lesnar and Rhodes is scheduled to take place at the Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 27. It is not yet known who will win the match.
