Tips For The The New Season of The Fantasy Premier League

The Fantasy Premier League will start soon your current squad should consist of players who are in good form and have a high point potential for the first 3 or 4 rounds. After that, you can assess the emerging alternatives and make changes accordingly. These 3 or 4 players can be relied upon throughout the remaining season, while the rest of the team can be subject to rotation.

Good teams maintain a consistent playing style and lineup to achieve tactical balance and cohesion. Players need rest and should not be overburdened. Teams like Liverpool and Manchester City have more rotation due to the abundance of choices.

However, the core lineup and substitutes of these teams usually play the full 90 minutes or at least a substantial amount of time. With the new substitution rule, if a player is substituted and plays for a significant amount of time, it is beneficial to keep him as they can still contribute to your points tally. Players like Erling Haaland often play less than 90 minutes and yet manage to score multiple goals  so if you have a player who is as effective as Haaland, it’s safe to captain him even if he doesn’t play the full game.

Joao Pedro is a key player  whether he plays as a striker or as an attacking midfielder and he will score goals and create chances there won’t be much rotation in the early rounds of the season until the European competitions begin assuming that a substitute comes on around the 30th minute which is enough time to accumulate points.

Finally it is better to have a 5.5m forward in your attacking lineup like someone from Brighton rather than a 4.5m defender or a 5.5m midfielder. It’s important to make your first two transfers in round 3 as it is expected to be the round with the most points available and you will need to bring in players who have consistently performed well  don’t let excessive tinkering ruin your plans stick to a strategy that suits you and stick to it.

Don’t worry too much about rotation in the early stages of the season as I mentioned earlier teams will settle into their preferred lineups to maintain their performance
