Saudi club Al-Ahli has resolved the deal for Ivorian Franck Kessé, the star midfielder of Barcelona, to support the center of Al-Raqi during the current summer transfer period.
The Ivorian Franck Kessié had joined Barcelona last summer, coming from Milan and on a contract extended until June 2026, but the lack of need for his efforts with Barça coach Xavi Hernandez prompted the club’s management to think about selling him.
Fabrizio Romano, a famous journalist in the transfer market on the “Sky Sports” network, said that the officials of Ahli Jeddah and Barcelona signed all the papers for the transfer deal of Franck Kessie to the Saudi club Al-Ahli, in preparation for the announcement of the deal officially within the next few hours.

The newspaper confirmed that Franck Kessé passed medical tests in Paris, in preparation to join Barcelona this summer.
