Guardiola on Bernardo Silva’s move to Barcelona: We don’t want who don’t want us

Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, spoke about the position of Bernardo Silva from leaving for Barcelona, and the deal of Gvardiol for the Citizens, before facing Arsenal in the FA Shield.

Guardiola said during the press conference for the match against Arsenal in the FA Shield about Barcelona’s interest in signing Silva: “I don’t want any player who does not want to be here, I want to work with people who want to stay, but we need an offer, and so far we have not received any offers, if they want to talk to our sporting director, so far he has not received any official offer for Silva.”

He added of Gvardiol’s new deal: “What a great name he has, he is doing a medical examination, everyone knows that he is here, and we hope to finalize the agreement for the next few hours or days.”

Guardiola continued on the return of his assistant: “Juanma is the best assistant in bad moments, you have to look for people close to you in bad moments, in good moments I don’t need anyone, all staff and players are happy to see him again.”

Barcelona’s financial plan to sign Silva

Barcelona aspire to sign Portuguese Bernardo Silva from Manchester City in order to strengthen the team.

The newspaper Sport reported that an economic scenario has been put in the account of the funds generated by the sales of Kessie and Dembele and the possible sale of Lenglet and with the signing of the Barcelona studios process and an attempt will be made to make a maximum offer in which the salary limit can be met without exceeding it.

The Spanish newspaper confirmed that the Blaugrana maximum proposal would be around 65 million euros fixed plus ten in variants that are almost mandatory.

At Barcelona they understand that City could open the door for Bernardo Silva to go to Barcelona if there is a sensible economic proposal and it could be those 65 million.
