FC Barcelona is close to announcing its first summer transfer deal, as they have reached a semi-formal agreement with Atletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, FC Barcelona, represented by its new sports director Deco, has obtained the player’s approval to move to Barcelona.
Barcelona is set to sign Vitor Roc on a five year contract
The newspaper stated that Rocky will sign for five seasons and the deal will be officially announced once the salary margin is determined. The deal will cost Barcelona coffers about 40 million euros.
For next season, 18-year-old Victor Roca will be one of the reinforcements for FC Barcelona. Deco played an important role in finalizing the deal as he was in good contact with his agent, Andre Curie.
The talented Brazilian will play as a central striker and replace the Polish star Robert Lewandowski. He can also play in the wing position.
