There were people present at San Siro on Sunday who did not desire Zlatan Ibrahimović to have a joyous retirement; nevertheless, the Swedish footballer had the final victory.

In a statement addressed to the Milan supporters, the 41-year-old declared his intention to retire, but as he spoke, a group of Verona fans in one section of the stadium jeered and booed.

Ibrahimović briefly interrupted his speech to put them in their place.

He instructed to continue expressing disapproval, stating that it is a significant occasion for them to witness him.
Zlatan encountered Verona on just three occasions throughout his profession, managing to score a goal in one of the matches. This goal can be considered as an additional accomplishment for him.

To make matters worse, the visitors are now facing relegation to a play-off match against Spezia next week after Milan’s 3-1 victory.
