On Thursday, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, held a meeting with Jose Angel Sanchez and Carlo Ancelotti.
During the discussion, they agreed to make another attempt to recruit Kylian Mbappe. The news outlet ‘Relevo’ has reported that negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for the talented player will resume in the upcoming transfer window in anticipation of the 2024-25 season.
At the end of the upcoming season, Mbappe’s contract will expire, and the Spanish leadership intends to have him take Benzema’s place as the 24-year-old’s future at Madrid is unclear.
Real Madrid accepted his apology and will go for him again in 2024
During the meeting, Perez and his team talked about more than just the France international. They also discussed upcoming announcements for departures and the addition of new transfers in the following weeks.
After winning the award for the best player in Ligue 1 for four consecutive years, the forward rejected multiple speculations about leaving the French team.
“I cannot find any indications of my future elsewhere. Nevertheless, I am extremely content staying with PSG and committed to this endeavor. In fact, I will remain with PSG for the coming season,” he asserted.
