Lonnie Walker’s Fourth Quarter Heroics Lift Lakers to 3-1 Series Lead Over Warriors

Lonnie Walker, the Lakers player who began the season as a starter, lost his place in the rotation after getting injured and seeing the team change its roster at the trade deadline.

However, Walker continued working hard and cheering from the bench, waiting for his chance to shine, which came in Game 4 of the second-round series against the Golden State Warriors.

He scored all his 15 points in the fourth quarter, outshooting Stephen Curry and helping the Lakers take a 3-1 lead in the series.

LeBorn James scored 27 points and Anthony Davis had 23 points and 15 rebounds.

Curry recorded his third career postseason triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists, but the Warriors will now have to overcome a 3-1 series deficit to continue their NBA title defense.

The Lakers and the Warriors will play Game 5 in San Francisco on Wednesday night.
