Backlash 2024 Predictions
These are the predictions for the Backlash 2024 matches, which are highly likely to happen.
Cody Rhodes’ first defense
Backlash 2024 will see Cody Rhodes’ first defense of the WWE Championship following his epic WrestleMania 40 victory over Roman Reigns.
He will face the exceptional AJ Styles in a highly anticipated match. With his momentum at an all-time high, many believe Cody Rhodes will successfully defend his title; it would be an upset for “The American Nightmare” to lose his first world title defense.
Damian Priest’ first defense
Damian Priest will also defend the World Heavyweight Championship in his first defense against Jay Uso. Priest is a strong favorite to retain the title and continue his reign as champion after Backlash 2024.
Orton and Owens vs The Bloodline
The Bloodline will also be represented at the event by Solo Sikoa, the team’s most resilient and consistent member, and new member Tama Tonga.
They will face Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in an exciting tag team match. This match is sure to be a barn-burner, with both teams having a strong chance of victory.
WWE’s next event
It’s worth noting that WWE’s next event will be King of the Ring, which will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on May 25th. SmackDown will also air live from the same venue the day before the event.
