During the 24th minute of a heated game between his team, Iganti, and their rivals, Partizani, Duamen suddenly collapsed. Despite immediate medical attention and swift transportation to the hospital, he was pronounced dead, with a heart attack being the likely cause.

Duamen’s career, though brief, was marked by his remarkable versatility and international experience. Before joining Iganti earlier this year, he had played for clubs across Europe, including in Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, and Spain.

His national contributions were equally noteworthy. In his eight appearances for the Ghanaian national team, Duamen scored two goals, the last of which was in August 2018. His sudden passing is a stark reminder of the unpredictability and fragility of life.
