Former Barcelona FC star “Miralem Pjanic” stated in a press interview that he enjoyed playing alongside Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo more than Argentine star Lionel Messi. Pjanic, who currently plays for Al-Sharjah Club in the United Arab Emirates, made the statement to the famous Portuguese newspaper “O jogo, saying: I talk a lot with the Portuguese star Ronaldo. There are many memories that connect me with this wonderful player; he is truly a great player.”

Pjanic continued his speech, saying: “Ronaldo is the best player I have played with during my career, and he is one of the top three players in the world of football,” Pjanic confirmed that he is fortunate to have played alongside the best players in the history of football, “Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo” adding that it is difficult to choose between them, but he emphasized that he enjoyed playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo more than Lionel Messi.

It is worth mentioning that Miralem Pjanic played alongside Ronaldo during his time at Juventus FC from 2018 to 2020, and then he moved for one season to Barcelona FC, playing alongside Lionel Messi. 

Pjanic left Barcelona FC along with Lionel Messi in 2021, but Lionel Messi moved to Paris Saint-Germain FC, while Pjanic moved to Beşiktaş Club in Turkey.

Currently, Messi is playing for Inter Miami Club in the United States, while Pjanic is playing for Al-Sharjah Club in the United Arab Emirates. As for Ronaldo, he is playing for Al-Nassr Club in Saudi Arabia.
