Erik ten Hag has had a successful debut season as manager of the Red Devils. The team from England has won the EFL Cup and secured a spot in the UEFA Champions League. If they manage to defeat Manchester City in the FA Cup final on June 3, they will add another trophy to their collection.

Manchester United is committed to continuing their progression this season. They are willing to support Ten Hag during the upcoming transfer window and have already pinpointed potential high-level acquisitions.

The main priority for the Old Trafford team before the 2023-24 season is to acquire a top-tier forward. For a while now, Manchester United has been rumored to be interested in the star striker from Tottenham, Harry Kane.

Kane’s potential to continue playing for Tottenham is uncertain, considering that his contract will expire in June 2024. Hence, this current season could be the final opportunity for Spurs to receive a substantial amount for the attacker if he chooses not to renew his agreement.

If Tottenham are unable to secure European football, it might be difficult for them to persuade Kane to stay with them in the long run. It’s also important to keep in mind that Spurs don’t have a permanent manager appointed yet, and are currently being overseen by Ryan Mason on a temporary basis.
As per the source mentioned earlier, Manchester United is confident that they can purchase the England captain for a sum of £100 million. Nevertheless, they acknowledge that it will be difficult to persuade Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to part ways with the striker.

Harry Kane, who is 29 years old, has scored 30 goals and provided five assists in a total of 48 matches for Tottenham this season. He last played for the team in their recent 3-1 defeat against Brentford in the Premier League on May 20th.

The English player scored for Spurs after only eight minutes by teaming up with Dejan Kulusevski. Sadly, Ryan Mason’s squad ended up letting in three goals, resulting in their fifth loss out of seven games.

Kane was among the top players for Tottenham, as he managed to hit the target twice and set up one significant opportunity. He had a total of 42 touches and successfully completed 22 out of the 30 passes that he attempted.

Although Manchester United had their sights set on him, the player ended up giving up the ball 14 times and getting dribbled past twice. None of the Tottenham players performed worse in those specific areas.
