Expected Brazil Lineup against Peru in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers: “Neymar Leads the Attack”

The Brazilian national team managed to secure their first three points in the qualifying matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a convincing victory over the Bolivian national team with a score of 5 goals to 1.

The Brazilian team is preparing for their second match in the tournament against the Peru national team, which will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 5:00 AM Saudi Arabia and Egypt time, 3:00 AM Greenwich Mean Time, and 6:00 AM Abu Dhabi time, at the National Stadium in Lima.

 

Star player Neymar da Silva of Saudi club Al-Hilal managed to score two goals against the Bolivian national team, becoming the all-time top scorer for the Brazilian Seleção, surpassing the legendary retired star Pelé.

On the other hand, the Peru national team drew in their opening match of the World Cup qualifiers against the Paraguay national team with a score of 0-0. The match witnessed the expulsion of Peru player Advíncula in the 45th minute of the first half.

The expected lineup for the Brazilian national team in the fiery confrontation against Peru is as follows:

Goalkeeper: Ederson Moraes.

Defenders: Renan Lodi, Santos, Marquinhos, Danilo.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Rodrigo, Moura, Rafinha Dias, Neymar.
