“Brazilian Historic Top Scorer” Neymar Surpasses Pelé and Achieves a New Milestone

The Brazilian national team managed to defeat the Bolivian national team with a score of 5 goals to 1 in the opening match of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The legend Neymar was able to score two goals during that match, becoming the historic top scorer for the Brazilian national team, surpassing the late legend Pelé.

Despite Neymar missing a penalty kick in the first half of the match, he managed to come back strongly and score two goals during the second half at the 61st minute and the third minute of injury time. This raised Neymar’s goal tally with the Brazilian national team to 79 goals, making him the historic top scorer for the Brazilian national team.

The star Rodrigo, who plays as a forward for Real Madrid, also excelled in that match. He scored two goals as well, at the 24th minute of the first half and the 52nd minute of the second half.

Brazilian Neymar joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal from the French capital Paris during the current summer transfer window. Neymar made provocative statements before the Bolivia match, emphasizing that the Saudi Arabian league has become stronger than the French league after attracting many stars.
