Slotherhouse: Killer Sloth Movie a Surprise Hit with Critics

The new horror comedy “Slotherhouse” has been a surprise hit with critics, who are calling it a “masterpiece” and a “bold, muscular, knowing, original creature feature.” The film follows the story of Alpha a dangerously psychotic sloth who is poached from the wilds of Panama and taken to a sorority house to act as a mascot. However, things quickly go wrong when Alpha begins to murder the sorority sisters.

The film is full of dark humor and over-the-top violence but it is also surprisingly well-made. The acting is good, the directing is solid and the special effects are surprisingly effective. “Slotherhouse” is a must-see for fans of horror comedies and it is sure to leave a lasting impression.

The film’s director, Kelly Lynn Reiter, said that she was inspired to make the film after seeing the success of other creature features like “Cloverfield” and “Jurassic Park.” She wanted to create a film that was both funny and scary, and she believes that she has succeeded.

“Slotherhouse” is currently playing in theaters in the United States. A UK release date has not yet been announced.

In addition to the praise for the film’s humor and violence critics have also singled out the film’s British talent. The lead is played by Lisa Ambalavanar an actor who in a few short years has leapt from a recurring role in the British daytime soap Doctors to playing Jinx on Titans. The mean girl antagonist is Sydney Craven, who was Alexandra D’Costa on EastEnders for almost 50 episodes. Tiff Stevenson from People Just Do Nothing gets to make what might be the longest deathbed speech you will have ever heard.

The film has been compared to other horror comedies like “Gremlins” and “The Shining.” Some critics have even called it the “Paddington 2 of horror films.”

While the film has been a critical success, there is some concern that it may not be a commercial success. The film’s premise is certainly unique, but it is also very violent and may not appeal to a wide audience. However, the film’s director is hopeful that the film will find its audience and become a cult classic.

Overall, “Slotherhouse” is a surprisingly well-made and entertaining film that is sure to please fans of horror comedies. The film is full of dark humor and over-the-top violence, but it is also surprisingly well-acted and directed. If you are looking for a unique and funny horror film, then “Slotherhouse” is definitely worth checking out.
