New Key Visual for Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 Unveiled at Mappa Stage 2023

During the Mappa Stage 2023 event on Sunday, May 21, at 3:30 pm JST, a new key visual for Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 was revealed. The event also included live voice acting performances, comments from the cast and director Yuichiro Hayashi, and a tribute to Romi Park, who recently left the show.

Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 is set to premiere during the Fall 2023 season on NHK General and is expected to be the final installment of the popular anime. Director Hayashi, who was present at the event, indicated that this key visual would likely be the last one for this part of the series.

No Titans or Characters in Final Key Visual

The serene scene depicted in the final key visual features a humble cottage on a lush, green hill. While no human characters are present, the shadows of two Titans can be seen. A line of text on the poster reads, “Itterasshai Eren,” which translates to “Take care/have a nice day/see you, Eren.” Manga readers will recognize this setting from the “See you Eren” dream and Mikasa’s final words to Eren.

According to Director Hayashi, this will be the last promotional still for the upcoming installment, although a trailer is expected to be released soon. In his comments during the Mappa Stage 2023, Hayashi explained his decision to take a simpler approach for the final visual: “I think that there is something intriguing to the imagination when there is nothing given. There are some interesting things that would be hard to explain and would be a spoiler, so I hope you can expand your imagination and look forward to the final part.”

Tribute to Romi Park and Live Voice Acting at Mappa Stage 2023

The Attack on Titan panel at Mappa Stage 2023 featured Yuki Kaji (voice of Eren), Yui Ishikawa (voice of Mikasa Ackerman), and Romi Park (voice of Hange Zoe). The trio live-acted selected scenes from Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 1, which aired on March 4, 2023.

The cast reminisced about their experiences portraying these beloved characters, with a special focus on the character of Hange Zoe, who passed away in the previous part. This event served as a farewell to Romi Park, who is leaving the show but may appear on other stages during the anime’s run.
