The promo highlights various fan-favorite characters from Eiichiro Oda’s beloved series, with a particular focus on Luffy. However, Mackenyu’s Zoro also takes center stage in a short segment that showcases his sword-fighting skills, although his famous three-sword technique is not displayed. Emily Rudd’s Nami gets a few lines, allowing viewers a first look at her iconic red hair and costume. Gibson and Skylar, who play Usopp and Sanji, are featured briefly, giving fans a chance to see their character designs. The trailer concludes with a VFX depiction of Luffy’s Gum-Gum Pistol, a move that utilizes his Rubber Person Devil Fruit powers to deliver a stretchy, powerful punch.
The promo also offers a sneak peek at several villains, most notably the clown-themed pirate Buggy (Jeff Ward). Loyal One Piece fans will also recognize Alvida’s (Ilia Isorelys Paulino) pink-hearted pirate ship and a poster of Axe-Hand Morgan (Langley Kirkwood) in a Marine base shot. These antagonists play crucial roles in the Romance Dawn arc, where Luffy and Zoro face off against them.

Written by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece is a beloved series that has captivated fans for decades, often at the expense of the author’s health. While many fans are excited about the live-action adaptation, others remain concerned, citing Netflix’s history with live-action anime projects, such as the poorly received Death Note (2017) and Cowboy Bebop (2021). However, Oda has assured fans that the series will only be released if he is satisfied with the final product.
